Logan Heights Enjoy the Memorial Park and Recreation Complex
Comprised of an outdoor park with playing fields and courts, a rec center, a skate park and a swimming pool, located at 2902 Marcy Ave, this is a full-service recreational complex. The Dolores Magdaleno Memorial Recreation Center offers a variety of activities to children and teens for free or minimal fees. For adults there are a number of fitness opportunities as well as art classes. The friendly bilingual staff are there to help out. The Memorial Swimming pool offers free swimming lessons to those who don’t know how to swim as well as Swim Team and Youth Water Polo for a small fee. And finally there is also a beautiful skate park available for a small fee provided the kids where protective pads and parents sign a waver.
